The St. Catharines Flying Club is located at Niagara District Airport in the heart of Niagara. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the best possible flight training at the lowest possible cost for over 80 years.
We are registered as a Private Career College under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005, and approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 to provide Instructor Rating and Commercial Pilot training.

The Club is a Certified Flight Training Unit, registered with Transport Canada with two class 1 instructors, one class 2 instructor and one class 3 instructor and two class 4 instructors. We also have 2 Transport Canada Certified Pilot Examiners.
We provide training for Recreational Pilot Permit, Private Pilot license,and Commercial Pilot license as well as Instrument, Night, Instructor, and OTT.

Fuel Surcharge
Regretably, due to outrageous fuel price increases, the Board is forced to impose a fuel surcharge of $30.00/hr. on club plane rentals. We held out as long as we could and were one of the last in the area to impose the charge.
