The St. Catharines Flying Club main location is at Niagara District Airport with a sub-base at Niagara Central Airport.

 

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the best possible flight training at the lowest possible cost for over 80 years.

 

We are registered as a Private Career College under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005, and approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 to provide Instructor Rating and Commercial Pilot training.

The Club is a Certified Flight Training Unit, registered with Transport Canada with two class 1 instructors, one class 2 instructor, two class 3 instructors and one class 4 instructor. We also have 2 Transport Canada Certified Pilot Examiners.

We provide training for Recreational Pilot Permit, Private Pilot license,and Commercial Pilot license as well as Instrument, Night, Instructor, and OTT.

Sightseeing

Take a thrilling air tour over Niagara on the Lake, the Niagara River, Whirlpool and Falls.

Cost is only $100.00 for a 1/2 hour flight for 3 passengers.

Announcements:

Transport Canada Safety Seminar

Will be held on Saturday, July 19 at the St.Catharines Flying Club, Evans Room, from 13:00 to 15:00 by Civil Aviation Safety Inspector-Flight Operations, TC, Brenda Frame. She will provide sign in sheet, handouts, and stickers for pilots as it relates to CARs Standard 421.05.

We invite all the participants and Club Members to stay after the seminar for our annual Pig Roast. The bar will open after the seminar and dinner will be served afterwards.Cost of the dinner is $15.00 each and includes, appetizers, salads, barbequed pork main course, buns, desserts and coffee. Proceeds go to the Social Committee for improvements to the Flying Club.
