Meat Pie Dinner April 17,2010....

Jim and Elsa, and the Social Committee presented a dinner featuring Jim's dad's famous meat pies at the Flying Club Evans Room. The recipe had been passed down from Jim's dad before he passed away recently and this dinner was in his memory.

 

There was an excellent turnout of folks eager to sample the long rumoured delicacy of Jim's pies and there were plenty of salads and appetizers to start off with, as well as great deserts supplied by the Social Committee.

 

Everyone enjoyed the meal as well as the wonderful fellowship of our fellow club members, friends, and family.

 

Many thanks to Jim and Elsa, the Social Committee and those that helped organize and clean up for a great evening.
