Pot Luck Dinner Dec.27, 2008....

A well attended Club Pot Luck Dinner was held in the Evans room on Dec. 27, 2008. There was a great variety of delicious salads, entrees, and desserts donated by various generous club members. Many thanks to those who donated and helped organize, serve, and cleanup.

Bev serves up the cheese tray appetizers.

 

Cory thinks he'd better hustle over to the cheese tray before Harry gets there.

 

Ray spots Cory heading for the cheese tray and goes to cut him off. Al doesn't care.

 

Hey Sam wait till ya see the picture of my 57 Fairlane. It's right here in my wallet on top of the picture of Jacki.

 

Al didn't know that Jacki was standing behind him. Keep talking Al.....heh heh.

 

Heather watches Ray to see if he pulls any pictures out of his wallet.

 

Great Cheese Bev. Glad they left me some.

 

Alice scoops up some deviled eggs. Greg's already one step ahead of her.

 

Mike holding up a foreign object. He wouldn't let me smell it, claims it was just coke. Uh huh....He carried that same can around all night long.

 

The line up for the food. Howard looks at Mark thinking, "that young fellow needs to bulk up a bit".

Matt and Kristin (probably mostly Kristin) made airplane cookies.

 

Jim explaining to John which hand to hold the fork in.

 

Greg's not gonna start till he says Grace.

 

Mike's gonna work his way from one end of the table to the other.

 

Matt hopes that they don't eat all of Kristin's great airplane cookies.

Cory and Howard joined the hair club for men. Results are not encouraging.

Bev thinks Harry is never gonna eat all the food on his plate. She's got a big surprise ahead of her.

 

I'm on a diet so I'm just going to eat this green thing.

 

I knew I had my fork in my wrong hand, now I got it stuck in my teeth.

 

Martin and Alice. You'd think these two were on their honeymoon.

 

Rob and Colin. Clean up your plate Colin, or no dessert for you.

 

Deralyn thinks, "take that darn picture so I can dig into this great cabbage roll with some dignity".

Ok everyone, time for the 50/50 draw.

 

First I have to fold Harry's ticket a certain way......

 

Hey, it worked. Jim picked Harry's ticket. What a surprise. heh heh.

 

I'm really disappointed. I bought 50 tickets and thought I would win for sure.

 

We don't know what's in these airplane cookies but Jacki and Bev sure loved them.
