Pot Luck Dinner Dec. 29, 2010

A good crowd came out for our annual Pot Luck Dinner in the Flying Club Evans Room. Everyone had a good time and there was an abundance of great food and excellent desserts provided by the members to share with friends and family. What a nice way to end the year 2010.

Many thanks to those who took time from their busy schedules to prepare the wonderful meals and desserts, to come out to enjoy the fellowship of friends and family, and support the Club.

Thanks also to the Social Committee and the volunteers that helped in organizing the dinner, and cleaning up afterwards.

No, Shultzy, I don't want to see your coin trick.

Art, tell him to wait till I wipe the sauce off my mouth.

Hinch you look taller today. (Are you wearing platforms?)

Thanks for making Hinch feel good about himself Elsa you little darling.

Tommy, you look taller today too. Heh heh.

The lineup for food went right out the door.

Patti, I don't know what's going on with Tommy. He thinks he grew taller today.

Libations are served to those who wait.

Some of the "ahem" home made desserts. Tommy claims that he made that Lemon Pie. Everyone was waiting for Alice's home baking to appear. She has a reputation.

Bev in her usual spot behind the bar making sure everyone is looked after.

Al eating his dinner with all his friends around him.

Poor Al is over there all by himself. Maybe we should send one of the kids over to keep him company.

Poor Al is over there all by himself. Maybe I should go over there and see if he's going to eat all that dessert by himself.

Sorry Bev, Mike can't have anything to drink. He just gets giddy and starts smiling a lot.

Well if nobody will come sit with me, I will just go over and bug Hinch, Barb, Elsa and JIm.

Who the heck invited Al over here anyway? He just swiped my dessert.

I'm going to try some of your famous dessert Alice. I heard about your reputation. Just quit looking at my shoes and laughing.

Tommy, somebody stuck a "kick me" sign on your back. Maybe that's why Alice is laughing at you. Maybe.

Alice, why is Al sitting in my chair? Just be quiet Martin, we are trying to be nice to the poor guy. He's lonely. Who knows where the heck Jacki is?

"I'm dreaming of white sand, warm sun, and a martini in my hand". Why am I here?

Hey Shultzy, I just gave Barbara five bucks and told her to take a cab home. She wasn't laughing. Now I need a ride.

It was a fun evening. Thanks to everyone that came and provided ample material to poke fun at. Good thing you all have a great sense of humor.
