St.Catharines Flying Club Wings Banquet 2008

The well attended Annual Wings Banquet was held on January 12, 2008 at the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel. Guest Speaker was Tim Grech from the Niagara Skydive Centre. Tim presented an interesting video and talk about the Skydive Centre and what they do.

The reception was followed by an excellent Buffet dinner prepared by the Sheraton Staff which was greatly enjoyed by all the pilots, students, family and friends.

Awards were given to the following members:

Todd Whitwell - Private Pilot of the year

Howard Hammill - Recreational Pilot of the year

Liz Murphy - Recreational Permit, PPL

Jim Marquis - VFR OTT rating.

Gord Tessier - Multi Engine IFR rating.

Jeff Hopson - PPL
