This could be you......
Be prepared for new destinations, new experiences, a bigger world and a more exciting life.
Most pilots start by giving their friends and family a flight with them. Imagine the thrill of being their pilot and showing them all that you have learned at the St.Catharines Flying Club.
After a while you will probably move on to short cross country trips to visit that other airport with the really good restaurant nearby. Many pilots will share the flying expenses with their passengers to make it more affordable and more fun.
Flying offers busy people a great opportunity to travel to that golf course or visit friends in only an hour or two instead of stressing out on the highways for many hours.
Initially you will be flying in "VFR" conditions which means good weather and good visibility, but later on you may continue your training to obtain an instrument rating to fly in a wider range of weather conditions.
Many pilots look forward to the "Big Trip". That once a year adventure to Florida, Mexico, the Caribbean or way up North to a favorite resort.
How about a " Once in a Lifetime Trip" across the USA or across Canada? It's yours to do once you get your license.
You could join thousands of your fellow aviators at fly-in events at other airports, whether for pancake breakfasts, barbeques, air shows, or conventions.
You can also put your license to work as an airline pilot. The St. Catharines Flying Club can provide Commercial Pilot Training to help you achieve that goal.
